FTPサーバーはどう考えてもProFTPdを入れていこう。嘘！単におれが好きなだけです。でもまぁProFTPdはかなり安パイつーか間違いない系のFTPdだ。

1. apt-get install proftpd

aptでいきなりインストール。一応どのバージョンが入ったかとか確認。

This package defaults to the standalone behaviour of ProFTPD, but all the needed scripts to have it run by xinetd instead are included.

Available rpmbuild rebuild options : —with : ldap mysql postgres tls

ほー。しらねーけど。 ProFTPdの設定ファイルは/etc/proftpd.confにある。いつも通り初期状態をバックアップしとく。

1. cp /etc/proftpd.conf /etc/proftpd.conf.org

そして設定

1. vi /etc/proftpd.conf

・・・と思ったら何この設定ファイル。すでに弄るとこないじゃん！なんじゃこのお話イングスド。 とりあえず　～　の間が全部#でコメントアウトされてるとこなどをチェック。しょっぱなから不特定多数に公開しないようになってるわけです。 設定することがなかったのでそのまま起動。

1. /etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd start

ためしに192.168.1.100に自分のユーザーID,PWで接続してみると・・・

ポリーン！（NextFTPの音）て・・・、自分のホームディレクトリにあっさりつながってんじゃねーか！畜生が。

ちなみに不特定多数とまでいかなくとも仲間内でアレなファイルとかやり取りしたい場合はそれ用のユーザー作れば簡単。www.p0t.jpでもメンバー専用にpotmenっていうユーザーを作ってみた。あとはpotmenのホームディレクトリに適当にファイルを置くだけ。あまり面倒が無くていい。
